All exercises have a time frame, depending on the type of exercise performed. The iHERCULES Time Principle incorporates the need for rest periods to recover with an aerobic component to maximize the pump. In the protocols, the Time Principle will allow you to build strength and endurance simultaneously.

Constantly changing protocols is what makes the iHERCULES method successful. Humans are creatures of adaptation and it is a key to our survival.

The most common mistake in weight training is the use of the same training program, week in and week out. If you have lifted for a while, you know we're talking about. Mondays are chest & back; Wednesdays are arms & legs, or some variation similar to this one. Same muscle groups worked on the same days, every week, sometimes for years.

Heavy sets, light sets, high reps, low reps, explosive movements, slow movements, etc. A great variety of movements, speeds, and intensities must be employed to ensure that each and every component of a muscle cell is being overloaded sufficiently.
